Yup, and you wonder if the reason Denard never came back in the game wasn't so much he hurt his hand OR did he mention to the trainers he was woozy, and they suspected a concussion. I guess we'll find out some time this week at Hoke's presser...
 
I believe the ESPN announcers were saying that his hand hit the guy's helmet. I didn't see it in the replay. They did show him once on the sidelines and he seemed to be rubbing his hand.

That's what I thought, but I just really never seen his hand get hit. They showed the replay a couple times, but it didn't look like his hand got hit
 
Yeah, I tend to believe it was more of a hand injury coupled with some questionable decision making on Denard's part. I really think the coaching staff wanted an extended look at Gardner.
