We have proof that I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground. Not like many of you needed proof.. but we have it.

Bjoern Werner has been cut by the Colts. I wanted the Lions to take this guy at #5 in 2013 over Ansah.

Wow... did I miss wildly on that one.

Sorry to burst your bubble but we saw proof back in 2011.

Respect for voluntarily eating your crow in public.

I thought Gym Shorts was the HC that finally turned this thing around. Ink, you were a little bit off the mark. I missed it by a mile.

Check this thread out. Hughes, Ink is seated at your table for two. Check out my picks at the bottom of the page.

Edit: another thread. Man people hating on the Ansah.

And there it is. I knew somewhere there would be a thread where I publically stated I wanted Werner in the first.

Go back and look at his tape from college. He was a terminator. Complete disruption at the line. Relentless motor. His crocodile roll was brutal.

Everything you would want in a 4-3 DE except size, he needed to bulk up by about 15 pounds. Short of that, this guy was a BEAST.

Still not sure what the hell went wrong.

LOL......I remember telling a buddy I thought JJ Watt would have a very Mike Mamula ish career. (meaning a guy drafted too high that had a solid 2-3 years but was a disappointment overall)

Yep, I'm a genius!!!

I thought Millen would bring "fire" to the franchise and that Mooch would make us a winner.

I was half right, sort of. Millen set the franchise on fire.

I was right there with you. Especially since he fit the kvb mold who we obviously needed to replace.

I didn't want Ansah back then because of his lack of experience in football. Thought he was way too risky to take that high. Happy to be proven wrong too. I wanted one of the three OTs, but they got scooped up before we picked. Can't recall who I wanted after that in the 1st since I thought we'd wind up with one of them.

I do remember wanting a different European in the 2nd or 3rd... Margus Hunt.

Ultimately, we all make bold predictions on this forum that may come true, or be completely false. I have a ton of respect for the people on the DSB that put their neck on the line and disown something, or praise something.

I was over-the-moon excited when the Pistons drafted Mateen Cleaves. Couldn't stand the Austin Daye pick. Right on one, wrong on the other.

These forums are boring when people walk the line and don't take a stand on one side.
