Got our number 1 guy.

#4 RB in the nation. #70 overall player. Still think we get Weber too.

Had Bama and Auburn offers, but Ohio State was thought to be the team to beat as Urban ha the full court press on lately.

Great news! Now just have to sweat the next 6-7 months out. Because you KNOW that OSU and the SEC will really start recruiting him now.

Based on his quotes he's solid, he sounded like he was close to committing for a while. There's a chance he ends up as a safety in college even though we recruited him as a rb

I think OSU was really after him already, they turned up the heat. I can count on one hand the times we beat OSU for a guy they wanted from the state of Ohio. So many of the guys that we got were plan B guys with OSU offers too, not the case here. his size and speed is a huge combo, compares favorably to Eddie George or Beanie Wells

I'm not in any way qualifies to evaluate film of high school talent, nor are 99% of message board posters or recruiting service writers for that matter. All these high level players look like men among boys in high school. But, damn! Scott runs angry and is a complete back, wow!

He looks good, the one thing I noticed is that he is a good receiver out of the backfield, he can go up and get the ball like mac kings or lippett. I know MSU fans don't like to anoint a high school kid as the second coming of Christ but it was significant to take a plan A kid away from OSU

Coach says he runs like Adrian Peterson,k and watching his film, that's exactly who came to mind, but I didn't want to sound silly. There is zero chance he'll be as good as AD, but the way he runs really looks similar on film, of course AD is doing it against NFL players, not high school players.
I like him as a player and think he could be a stud but I'll think about him like any other highly recruited football player. Yes he was a big name but let's give it a fee years and see if he actually does anything.

This win is more significant to me because he was an OSU plan a guy and he chose us, which never happens.
