My first Lions game down in New Orleans a couple years ago... getting excited to go down there again next week! But this game is going to be a hell of a game I think.

But I would be more excited about this win. I expected us to beat the Bears, but a vicory over a 10-0 Packers team would be enormous.

Last time that I was this excited, outside of their playoff games and amongst others of course, for just one example was their MNF game vs @ Dallas in '94 matching up Sanders vs Smith for what was the fourth and unfortunately the very last time ever, with three of the four Barry vs Emmitt games being Lions wins.

Both rushed for over 100 yds apiece, and only Smith scored a TD, but Sanders nearly reached 200 w/194, the final score of 20-17 actually made the game appear much closer than it really was, as the usually reliable Hanson made only 2 FGs out of 5 atts in the game. Cowboys turned the ball over 3 times on 4 fumbles, while the Lions had none. Lions wore their throwbacks in that game IIRC.
