Wierd to see the power Rankings and us at 3

which ones? yeah i know ESPN had us at frickin 4... not used to this kinda love
 
Good to know we can come back from a big hole and all. I'm not paying these rankings any attention till about week 7 or 8. They're going overboard with the storylines.

I agree 100% but it is a nice change.
 
These rankings mean absolutely nothing. But by the same token, this is a team you have to feel has a fighting chance against any team this season. Green Bay and New Orleans should murder us, but you have to feel like a couple of key plays and a few big hits could turn even that around.

Starters on starters, the Lions looked pretty good against the Pats in preseason. #3 is obviously too high after three games, two of them against winless teams... But the Lions are headed in a positive direction for the first time in a long time, and I can't help but feeling like they can win some games, get to the playoffs, and even stand strong once they do.
