After reading this article it is very clear that Cunningham really likes this kid. Given his injury filled past, do you guys think he will be fairly cheap to re-sign?? Either way, I think if the Lions get a chance to get a safety in FA/draft, they should go for it. And maybe Delmas can once and for all shake the injury bug. Best case scenario, the Lions solidify their safety position with Delmas healthy.

Who knows. Whatever decision they come to, I hope they do it swiftly though. I'm sure most of us love his energy on the field and how much better the D performs when he's out there, but damn he's never out there :-/

We got people like Delmas and Best who make significant impacts on games but can't stay healthy, but then you got a guy like Raiola who's physically over-matched EVERY GAME but never misses a game. Hilariously backwards; oh boy.

Delmas had his best season as a rookie, the last 2 years he's played 16 games total and has been half speed in several other games.

Not sure about him, he's been in the league 4 years now and hasn't really developed into a top Safety and he's never healthy. You just know if he signs with someone else he'll make a pro bowl though.

Add safety to our list of important needs. Ugh.

I would say yes but he wont get paid like he wants. If he asks for to much then you have to let him walk. At full speed he is a great player at half speed he is good but he just misses to many games.

Who cares....id rather have someone that is reliable.

You're always so good at making my points for me. Yes...silva plays....delmas watches on the sidelines and costs like 4 million more.

actually his contract was peanuts lol...i think we resign louis for like 3 mil a year..for a couple of years..otherwise let him go...he's not worth it if he can't play.

Cunningham is a joke and so is Delmas. You can't rely on Delmas for anything. Wait, scratch that, if you're looking for a player to miss a handful of games then Delmas is your man. Show him the fn door.

y does GC even have a playbook to hold onto? we all know the thing is blank inside
