Can you FUCKING believe this?
this is certainly not the first hint that the Bush Administration was totally asleep at the switch prior to 9/11 (and pretty much after that as well, if you consider how badly they bungled through Iraq and Afghanistan). one of the most astonishing things to me was how the Adminstration (and FBI and CIA leadership) completely escaped any scrutiny for the success of the attacks. It's like the press more or less agreed to take a "hands off" approach... fucking bewildering.
Can you imagine the outrage if it came out that Obama/Biden were telling the CIA officers briefing them that terrorist threats were just a bluff? Fox News would completely melt down... they wouldn't even be able to cover it they would cream themselves so quickly...
