Xavier Tillman moves up visit, will commit

Xavier Tillman moved up his visit and is taking one to MSU this weekend where he is expected to commit to Izzo.

Brandon McCoy is still a possibility, but Tillman wanted to make sure he had a spot in the class.

I agree, and we need 3 bigs in this class. Ward will be our only player taller than 6-6 returning in 17-18.

Announcement will be 9/30, I'd be surprised if he went anywhere other than MSU. He's a program guy that will be at MSU 4 years, play with his back to the basket and hopefully develop into a starter. He is not a guy that's looking to make the jump to the NBA in a year. It would be a good mix with Tillman, Jackson, McCoy, Bowen, Eastern.
