I love plotted data. Love it. It's like pizza. It doesn't even have to be good data. I actually bought a book just on the topic of how to plot data.
 
Also, there are NO moderate Republicans in the House. Looking at the left/right shifting of the plot is interesting enough, but just looking down the center at the shades that indicate moderates tells the story I'm more concerned with (and reinforces my beliefs, which is the hallmark of a good plot.)

who defines moderate?
 
Question, the ones who are dem/lib do you guys like your candidates far left or closer to moderate? As a conservative my whole adult life I like them to be far right. Probably why I wasn't a big fan McCain. Great hero but not my choice for a Candidate. I'm just curious.
