Your story makes me realize that it's no big deal when cops - recklessly or intentionally - kill an unarmed black guy, or a citizen of any color for that matter, and we don't need to seriously re-examine police procedures and the way cops are held accountable for their actions.

Of course. All police are either saints or tyrants. There's no way 99% of them could be good and 1% could be a problem.
