My Current Lions Mock:

1) Whitney Mercilus, DE

Avril replacement. He'll produce just as much and cost 10 mil less.

2) Kevin Zeitler, G

Peterman....peace out.

3) Josh Robinson, CB

i absolutely loathe mid round defensive backs.....BUUUUT....this guy is a dark horse. I think hes going to be a stud in this league. His speed is ridiculous. If hes at the combine his stock could rise....he'll run a 4.3. Has return experience as a KR and PR. More fast than quick though.

4) Cyrus Gray, RB

Quickest feet ive seen in awhile and great hands out of the backfield. Run at 2:27 is one of the best 6 yd runs ive seen lol.

Pre-Combine:

1) Jonathan Martin OL Stanford
2) Vontaze Burfict LB ASU
3) Chandler Jones DE Syracuse
4) Nate Potter OT/G Boise State

Walter Mock:
1. Nick Perry (Both CBs, Martin, Adams, Barron gone)
2. Vontaze Burfict (Late 2nd? Wow)
3. Isiah Pead
4. Andrew Datko

Burfict is dropping, but not late 2nd. Too much potential. But I would take that draft, I guess

There is more a chance of Burfict being there in the late second than there is Jones being there late 3rd.

If you don't know now you know:

If we have to replace Avril or even add a young DE this is the guy. He'll blow up after the combine when he tests off the charts. Next Aldon Smith IMHO.

1. CB Jenkins or Kirkpatrick
2. OT Zebrie Sanders or OG Kelechi Osemele
3. OT Nate Potter or OG Brandon Washington
4. C Grant Garner
5. OLB Terrell Manning

1) (a.) Mike Adams, (b). Cordy Glenn

2) Chris Polk rb Washington
(09)1,113 yr, 4.9 ypc, 5td, 25 rec. 173 yds, 6.8ypc.
(10)1,415 yds,5.4 ypc,9tds, 22 rec. 180 yds, 8.2ypc.
(11)1,488 yds,5.1 ypc,12tds,31 rec. 4tds, 332 yds, 10.7ypc.

3) Markelle Martin s Oklahoma State
(2009)46 tackles, 1 tfl, 11 pd
(2010)55 tackles,2 tfls, 13pd, 3 ints.
(2011)74 tackles, 5 tfls, 11 pd, 2 ff.

4) Casey Hayward cb Vandy ( Not sure why he isn't high on boards )
(2008)True FR* 8 tackles,3 pd, 1 ff
(2009)58 tackles, 8.5 tfls, 9 pd, 2 ints
(2010)70 tackles, 2 tfls, 17 pd, 6 ints, 1 ff
(2011)62 tackles, 7.5 tfls, 17 pd, 7 ints(1 td)

1. C Glenn(OT/OG)(Prefer Barron)
2. C Johnson (DE)
3. P Blake(OC/OT)
4. W. Guy (S)

1. Jenkins, cb, n. Alabama
2. Zeitler, og, Wisconsin
3. Blake, oc, Baylor
4. Potter, ot, Boise St.
5. Tyler, rb, USC

i'm sure this will change a couple times;

1. Mark Barron S (If he's not here, then Zach Brown LB)
2. Chase Minnifield CB (I still think he's a first round talent)
3. Brandon Washington G (Great run blocker, could move to RT if needed)

After today ill add Nick Perry and Zach Brown to my list with Mercilus as a first round want. By the end of tomorrow ill probably add Jenkins and Kirkpatrick. Should have plenty of good options available at 23 it seems.

Perry is waaay too small to be a DE for Schwartz. Jim likes his DEs at about 270. Perry is at 250, the heaviest he's ever been.

He was 271 yesterday. Watch the replay of the combine...dude is a horse. Looks much bigger than KVB ever has.

Gotta say I like Brown. He's an impressive athlete who takes good angles, can run with 90% of backs and tight ends, can go sideline to sideline and is rarely out of position. This team could use a player like that. The only thing that scares me is his inability to lay the wood.

Yep, Slippery Pete gave his momma a house and stole him from Michigan. lol His numbers are off the charts though, if we don't draft him Id rather not see him in the division.
