Just crazy stats for him heading into the all-star break......

18 starts, 8-2, 1.39 era, 0.84 whip. He's gone at least 6 innings in every start this season.

He's given up:

5 runs = once
3 runs = twice
2 runs = once
1 run = 6 times
0 runs = 8 times

So in 14 of his starts he's given up 0 or 1 run and he hasn't allowed a run in his last 5 games (35.2 innings) and he's only given up 16 hits and 3 walks in those 5 games.

And remember he set an mlb record starting in July 2013 and going into 2014 where he went 22 consecutive starts with allowing 2 or fewer runs.

Too bad the offense or RP isn't it getting it done when he's out there.

Well Greinke now has a 1.30 era after he outdueled Max today. Greinke went 8 innings, gave up 3 hits and no runs and struck out 11. Max gave up 1 run in 6 IP.

Well the bum's scoreless streak is officially over at 45.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs in 7 innings and earned a no decision against the Mets today. His era is now at 1.37.
