Tigers vs. redsox ALCS Game 3 Thread

Also anyone wondering now if the Tigers are going to make Peralta an offer for next year?

We're not going to get anything by letting him walk, and with our IF prospects kind of in shambles...

where does he play? 2nd? LF? He's definitely not going back to SS unless they convert Iggy to 2b.

Plus he's due for a down year again next year since he tends to alternate.

Bullpen shit the bed...
Leyland put them in very incorrectly and it is not even debatable but you believe what you want.. Most of us know he fucked up..[/QUOTE]

most of you delusional Tigers fans that don't put blame on the players. Go read KC's Tigers Notes thread regarding game 2. Almost all of the unbiased baseball writers don't say it was on Leyland.

Win tomorrow and it's a whole new series. We've had some success vs Peavy of late.

Just do it.

Tigers will not win another game at Boston! Balls and strikes went against Peralta in the 9th tonight. Spell it out Tigers will not get anymore close calls,IMO.

I don't know who the FA SS are this season but I would imagine he is the best one available. Most likely he will be too expensive for the Tigers to re-sign.

also i didnt mean for this to sound the way i realized it sounds like lol

i probably should have prefaced that with "it seems like a good idea, but"

please give it a rest, you two. its done and finished. no need to argue about it endlessly, i think most of us would rather forget it happened at this point.

Sorry S.
But until Jim wins the WS with this group he gets no more passes.. You just cannot make the mistakes as a manager Saturday as Jim did.. They are to costly...
We shall see in any other series other then NY and Oakland once we fall behind in the series it is pretty much over. Hopefully we will not be in roll over mode tomorrow. Frustrating with this talent we cannot win a world series..

But I can watch the wings and the hobbit tonight..

Tome when we fucked up Saturdays game it felt like Gibson's homer...I just feel the series is over...Hope they prove me wrong...:)

take Leylands balls out of your mouth.

he fucked the Tigers out of game 2 with his idiotic BP management.

terrible manager and i cant wait til the overrated POS is fired

the offense is averaging only 2.9 RPG, has score 3 runs or less in 6 of 8 games, and has been shut out twice.

EVERYONE BUT PERALTA AND VMART CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES

And yet Leyland said he forgot to tell JB to pitch Ortiz carefully. Give me a break..
BTW we have all conceded the rp fucked up.

But Until you Jim Lovers admit he had a lot to do why we lost Saturday it continues.

Again why Coke tonight and not Saturday ?
today's game was much closer...

Would be nice if the Tigers could win the next two games @ home and go back to bahstan with a 3-2 lead, but losing a 1-0 game when they had their (and mlb's) best hitter up in the 8th with one out & runners on 1st and 3rd, and he couldn't even hit a sacfly to tie the game, well that doesn't exactly fill me with optimism. I am WELL aware that Miggy has been hurt, and even @ 100% he won't come through in every PA, but those crucial postseaon situations are what and why he and Prince are being paid $$20 MM+ per year to deliver in.

Verlander, just like Scherzer before him, deserved better, but instead of the BP failing him, it was the Tigers' mostly AWOL offense.

Nah, what you're saying is legit. I took it that way.

I was just thinking about our prospects if Omar or Iggy got hurt. Ramon is a FA, old as dirt, and terrible. Perez needs to play every day and develop, he can't do that in Detroit. Are we going to offer Don fuckin Kelly arbitration?

A case could be made for signing him and worrying about where he will play later.

I hope they do too, Bob.

I wanna watch the hobbit, but im waiting for the extended edition to buy it. also i need to replace the laser in my ps3 in order to watch it. lol

Why on earth would anyone need to tell Benoit he should pitch to Ortiz carefully with the bases loaded?

If Joaquin Benoit did not know that himself the second he stepped from the bullpen, he has no place on an MLB roster.

"He" threw a bad pitch.

Just got back from the game, that fucking sucked. Swung at way too many bad pitches, holy shit

True, but gotta give some credit to Lacky's curveball, that thing was filthy.
