Warriors force game 7

Irving bailing James out..guess we will see a game 6 sadly. Or I should say helping the baby.

I really don't get all of the Lebron hate. Full disclosure...I didn't watch the game...but Lebron had 41 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. He lead his team in every category (tied in points) and yet he gets no credit....he got "bailed out"

He pads his stats, his style of ball will never win, he makes his teammates WORSE.

Irving put the game in the bag for the Cavs, clearly obvious.

Their game stats are similiar but if you watched the game you'd know that Irving was the MVP of game 5. He was far more efficient than James. Took less shots and played less minutes. He also came up huge when the Warriors made one last push to get back into the game, they were as close as 7 points in the 4th quarter.

This stretch in my opinion was where the game was decided:

8:18 LeBron James misses 18-foot jumper 99 - 92
8:17 Andre Iguodala defensive rebound 99 - 92
8:14 Kyrie Irving personal block (Andre Iguodala draws the foul) 99 - 92
8:14 Shaun Livingston enters the game for Anderson Varejao 99 - 92
8:04 Klay Thompson misses 9-foot jumper 99 - 92
8:03 Tristan Thompson defensive rebound 99 - 92
7:50 LeBron James misses 7-foot jumper 99 - 92
7:47 Harrison Barnes defensive rebound 99 - 92
7:41 Andre Iguodala Out-of-Bounds Bad Pass Turnover 99 - 92
7:30 Kyrie Irving makes 9-foot two point shot 101 - 92
7:30 Klay Thompson shooting foul (Kyrie Irving draws the foul) 102 - 92
7:30 Kyrie Irving makes free throw 1 of 1 102 - 92
7:30 Warriors Full timeout 102 - 92
7:16 Harrison Barnes misses 5-foot jumper 102 - 92
7:13 Warriors offensive team rebound 102 - 92
7:09 Klay Thompson makes 5-foot two point shot (Stephen Curry assists) 102 - 94
6:46 LeBron James misses 27-foot three point jumper 102 - 94
6:45 Stephen Curry defensive rebound 102 - 94
6:39 Stephen Curry makes two point shot 102 - 96
6:20 Kyrie Irving makes 8-foot two point shot 104 - 96
6:07 J.R. Smith enters the game for Iman Shumpert 104 - 96
6:07 Tristan Thompson vs. Harrison Barnes (J.R. Smith gains possession) 104 - 96
6:07 Andre Iguodala bad pass (Tristan Thompson steals) 104 - 96
5:50 Kyrie Irving makes 14-foot two point shot 106 - 96
5:39 Stephen Curry misses 21-foot jumper 106 - 96
5:39 LeBron James defensive rebound 106 - 96
5:33 Kyrie Irving makes 26-foot three point jumper (LeBron James assists) 109 - 96
5:18 Harrison Barnes misses three point jumper 109 - 96
5:16 Stephen Curry offensive rebound 109 - 96
5:05 Shaun Livingston misses 13-foot two point shot 109 - 96
5:03 LeBron James defensive rebound 109 - 96
4:43 LeBron James misses 16-foot jumper 109 - 96
4:41 Cavaliers offensive team rebound 109 - 96
4:41 Cavaliers Full timeout 109 - 96
4:41 Brandon Rush enters the game for Shaun Livingston 109 - 96
4:18 LeBron James lost ball turnover (Brandon Rush steals) 109 - 96

I'm not a Lebron James hater per say, but I do have a problem when his teammates are constantly the excuse for his inability to win a tough playoff series.

he may have been the MVP of game 5 and that's fine but they certainly still lose if James doesn't do what he did.

you are an idiot

Actually you're the idiot for buying into the hype all these years. It's not even debatable that LeBron plays for stats and players numbers drop with his style of play. He's a bitch that plays in a weak conference, gets to play with STACKED rosters and has still been a complete failure of a leader on the big stage his entire career.

He's a joke and so are you for buying into the LeSPN hype machine.

Walk it off.

the only thing that is true in that statement is that he is hyped in the media just like every star. Everything else is false.

1.5 Rings in 7 tries is a laughable failure, and in all honesty he shouldn't even have that 1 ring against the Spurs. He's declining rapidly and when it's all said and done, people will remember LeBron for his failures moreso then anything else. He's a stat-padder, not a winner/leader. Deny it all you want but it's the cold, hard reality.

Spot on,

What's worse is that his only offensive move is illegal.

Yep, LeOffarm would be in foul trouble in alot of his games if the refs called it fair but LeBaby gets to do what he wants...tom has had a hard-on for LeBron for years, he's been duped by the LeSPN hype machine.

no hard on...I just recognize that he is a great basketball player. I couldn't stand Jordan or Kobe when they played but could still recognize that they were great.

Where do you rank him among current players and among players over the past 20 years? Put together a list and rank the players in order.

To be fair it's just not ESPN, but the NBA. They needed someone to be the face of the NBA. Anyone who has watched basketball for 15+ years should be able to easily tell that LeBron James isn't as good as what is made out to be.

No doubt, he's a great player. I just don't like when his teammates are the scapegoats undeservedly. And they have been shit on by the media plenty already and the series isn't even over.

random stat I just saw on Twitter. Highest PPG when facing elimination in NBA post season history

1. Lebron 32.4
2. Jordan 31.3
3. Wilt 31.1

Random Stat:

in the 92-93 NBA season and Olympics there were 32 future hall of famers playing.

6 of the players on the 1992 dream team, who are in the HOF, never won an NBA championship.

Barkley, Ewing, Mullin, Stockton, Malone...Laettner?

Damn I remember Barkley going off in the Olympics. He was in video game mode.

Just saying, the NBA is so void of talent compared to the 90s.

For instance here are Dwayne Wade's numbers who many believe to be one of the top 5 players of the past 13 years alongside Mitch Richmond's numbers from his first 13 years:
Wade Richmond
PPG: 23.2 22.2
RPG: 4.8 4.2
APG: 5.8 4.8
FG%: 48% 46.3%
FT%: 76% 85%
3PT%: 28% 39%

Similar numbers, Wade obviously has won championships...then again Mitch never had any help. But, Wade is considered one of the top players from his era meanwhile Mitch Richmond probably wasn't top 20 in his era.

Richmond is #38 all time in career scoring average. There are 10 active players that have a higher career scoring average than he does. Of the other 28 players it appears that about 7 played in pretty much the same era as Richmond (MJ, Malone, Barkely, Hakeem, Robinson, Shaq, AI). There were a few that would be considered to be in both eras (Shaq & AI)
