He is a bit puzzling in most of his transactions so far. The Marvin Jones signing seems to be his only real impact player he acquired over the offseason. Guys he had signed to improve the team like Schwartz, Mulligan, and Ridley have all been cut. He already has a couple of wasted draft picks in the LS and Jake Rudock. Also, considering Jake Rudock came out and actually did pretty good for the preseason I'm curious as to why we make that selection anyways? What more did he want from the 6th round pick rookie? It doesn't make any sense. Hopefully the rookie GM learns from his first year full of blunders already.

I'm pretty sure it's Caldwell who makes the cuts..

Ridley just got cut by Indy. Schwartz is still unemployed and Rudock was a late pick. What's the issue? None of these players make or break a team lol. Not one

Exactly my point. All the guys he brought in were garbage.

Marvin Jones, Anquan Boldin, Taylor Decker, Ashawn Robinson, Tavon Wilson, Rafael Bush and Johnson Bademosi (st ). Lets enjoy how these guys play

Antwione Williams and Washington may be the late round gems. They all cant be late round gems

Who cares about ridley. Washington
Who cares about kerley. Boldin and roberts
Maybe this barnes kid shows something over walls and carter

Surprised by ola and schwartz cuts but its tbd on our oline depth

But you're not allowed to say those names, man. You didn't get the fucking memo??? Every single football player that walks through those Ford Field doors MUST be wearing a gold jacket!! Every. Single. Player ....got that?

Bob Quinn imo, is looking for certain traits/positives that the passionate Lions fan might be overlooking for instant success. One thing imo is also certain, Quinn has brought over some Patriots traits, and won't hesitate to cut a player, or let a player go when he is looking for X amount of money to sign a contract.

I think the kavetching will continue while Quinn gets the 53 man roster he "really" wants for the Lions to be a playoff contender.
In other words, they have been mediocre/bad for such a long time, it isn't going to happen the first preseason/draft and/or bringing in players.
The turnaround won't happen overnight.
Give it 3/4 years and then see how they look. That's all I got...except I hope to be here when they turn it around like when they had the best team(s) in football in the 1950's.

Marvin i agree, as well as Anquan. I forgot about Boldin. Taylor Decker is a possibility of an upgrade some time this season. The rest of those guys are nothing to write home about.

Rudock back on practice squad

What does a guy have to do to oust Orlovsky from the backup role??? Yeeesh. I can nor will I ever like having Mr. Safety on this roster...
