So far Bob Quinn not looking good.

Basically proving my point....this was the majority of his offseason. And every single one of them are gone already lol. Which would mean it was basically a waste of an off season.

Marvin Jones is the only hopeful signing imo. Both safeties are band aids at best. Then throw in the depth on the lines he cut and i really dont see much improvement at any positional group.

He signed muliple guys and kept the best one. Its a great strategy. Its called competition and creates depth

Ola and schwartz were hurt. Dahl did well and made schwartz expendable. Lucas and Robinson got the job when ola got hurt. The depth is better because reiff can slide back to lt if decker hurt and glasgow is your boy

This was sooo good we need to analyze the caveman in you in segments. Lets start!

"CJ retires.....in comes M. Jones and A. Boldin. Automatically 100% better than 2015"

This should battle LKP for quote of the year....and the year hasnt even started yet. Thats how fucking dumb you are and this statement is. We lost the 2nd best player in lions history....and were automatically better cause we signed marvin jones and a has been lmao. Wow...

"Re-signed Slay.....automatically makes them better"

This would rival your first statement as statement of the year....but im holding out hope for LKP this year. I think he makes a triumphant return and makes these quotes seem like they came from fucking einstein. Resigning Slay....sorry, but that makes them automatically the same....and thats only if he can pull off another year like last. right now hes a 1 year wonder. That actually happens at CB quite a bit....especially since there was a down year for offenses in our division last year.

who should they brought in with all this money, Hughes?? You got all the answers. You're crying over players like Ola and Schwartz lol. That's awesome btw....

Tell me......who should they have spent all their money on??? What would make this team better??? And be fucking realistic!! Who was coming to this team in your pea brain mind to better this team??

We will be lucky if a rookie LT can play anything like Reiff has.

He cut quality oline and dline depth. Ola and Schwartz gone in favor of 2 rookie unprovens. Cut Wright and Reid for a couple guys no one has ever heard of. Dline and Oline depth is now a weakness on this team.

a Slew of LBs? Who? Who the fuck is worth mentioning amongst that group?

Drafted a 6th round RB. Hmmm....ok?

Thank you for answering my question. The question had to do with what the fuck did he do with the 20 mil from Calvin. You answered it by talking about a bunch of draft picks lol. Once again proving that cavemen do indeed still roam the earth. You belong in a lab....

2nd best player in Lions history??? Sure..ok!! The same player you have dogged for years because he became (in your pathetic little mind) a 7 yard slant WR lol. We brought in M. Jones who has looked nothing short of great in this offense so far. And Boldin is a has been now??? lol. Look at his numbers, you fucking tool, then come back to me. He's better than anything we had all year last year. Tate, M. Jones and Boldin is BETTER than anything we ever had last year...FACT.

Re-signing Slay does not make them the same. It saves the headaches of having to worry about wether he bolts or not. And it shows that stars actually want to stay in Detroit. He's a good CB in this league...top 10 easy. He brings a certain swagger to this team. Again...BETTER.

DLine and OLine is not a weakness. Why, because you never heard of these guys?!?! Of course!!! You're an imbecile!! Remember?? lol. They went young with guys who actually OUTPERFORMED those veterans, you fucking dummy. Therefore, that makes them significantly better but you wouldn't understand that because well, you're you lol.

They brought in Bostic, Greene, Gooden. Drafted Williams who has looked the part. No world beaters by any stretch but solid players that can contribute. What's the deal?

And that 6th rd RB is nipping at the heels of Abdullah for the starting gig. Just watch. Washington is a fucking stud.

I did answer your retarded question! So what that they never burned up all the money? That's the answer now?? Spend...spend....spend. Something they have done in the past and been in cap hell for years?? You moron...that's the last thing they want to do. Especially with the new regime. Quinn is building this shit the right way.

Fucking Hughes dogging Tony for saying a position is better before the season starts yet calls bush a band aid at best before he ever plays a game. How can you not see that Quinn has brought in young talent that had out played these great "vet" depth guys you say we had. Now i get where you are coming from with your doom and gloom outlook 24/7 and it may looks bad to some cutting the guys he did because he had just signed them, BUT WTF you are bitching that young talent THAT HE BROUGHT IN is over preforming? Like wtf do you want him to do? Keep around a bunch of dudes who aren't as good or can't stay healthy just because they are vets? You rip tony and call him a caveman, yet you are about as blind as a bat. Quit bitching, sit back relax and watch some damn football.

You think that tool actually watches football??? lol

Who should have the Lions spent all their money on, Hughes??? Because Ola and Schwartz are gone....this team is doomed, right?? Gabe Wright.....Jesus Christ, how are we gonna replace the irreplaceable Gabe motherfucking Wright? lmao

These were cheap deals too. They kicked the tires on them. Young guys were the better option apparently. The young guys signed to three to four year deals over the one year players

Quinn ripped all the band aids off

Ola and schwartz were injury related. Quinn not trusting injured guys

Stefen Wisniewski - C - Eagles
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Eagles have "indicated a willingness" to trade G/C Stefen Wisniewski.
La Canfora adds the Eagles are also shopping reserve OL Josh Andrews, who didn't play an offensive snap last season. Teams would probably be more interested in Wisniewski due to his starting experience at both guard and center. GM Howie Roseman has been working the phones all week.

Go get this guy.

Before i ever see bush play a game? Dude is a udfa going on his 4th team in 6 years coming off a season ending injury. That's the definition of band aid. If you're going to defend a caveman atleast know what the fuck youre talking about. I simply asked a question. How did we get better? You guys are having a very difficult time answering.

You guys realize just 2 years ago we were debating the problem of having three 20+ mil guys. 2 of them are gone....i don't see the benefit of 40 mil being off the books right now. That's all I'm saying. Maybe just maybe you all agree with me and just like to argue?

Your idiotic question was answered twice. You're just too dumb to comprehend. I see you can't answer mine tho. Typical lol

And did you just say that Bush is going on his 4th team??? Lie much?? The guy has played for 3 teams including the Lions and has played for the Saints most of his career lol

I don't think anyone agrees with you, bud lol. They brought in some players with the money they have. You're mad because they didn't spend all of it??? Why did you wait a week to start complaining about Quinn all of a sudden? Your moves are so calculated it's scary. There's nothing to worry or bitch about but you bitch about losing players like Ola, Schwartz, Wright, Kerley etc etc etc. Journeymen and a never was lol.

Tony im not just bitching for the heck of it. I honestly liked what quin did. I agreed with you just a couple weeks ago that his draft and offseason brought nice depth on both lines. After cuts....i don't see it and i think it's now a weakness on both sides of the ball. If we have a coaching staff that "coaches up" all the young talent. ...great. but you and i can both agree that hasn't been a strong point of any lions organization. Ever.

Go back to the trade suh and cj arguments and think about what we would have liked to see in return. We didn't get anything. Nadda. Thats a sick joke....and signs of a horribly run team.

Now you're living in the past tho. Get over it. This is a new regime. Quinn brought in some guys, kicked the tires and didn't like what he saw. Buhbye!!! Simple as that. Saying we're weak because a couple of journeymen got bounced from this team makes no sense. Cmon man.....think!!! Those players do not make or break this team. They're going young with some nice veteran leadership to right the ship. I love the move.

Lions are deep everywhere but qb,lb and cb

Lb was out of quinns control with bynes and bostic injuries

Bademosi and Barnes are big worries but they beat out carter and walls

I understand he cut trash and it isn't a big deal. But if all these guys you signed, you evaluated and thought they could play roles on the team but then you see that they are trash that is worrisome. I actually am undecided on this years team. I think if both lines play solid then we might actually have a surprising year. But I expect growing pains on the offensive line all year long. I actually did like his draft. And I understand lineman take some time to develop. But Quinn has to do a better job next year with acquiring players. I don't see a whole lot of players on the two deep that look like they could help improve this team over last year. Most are still Mayhew holdovers. We'll see perhaps I'm wrong.

Washington,dahl,glasgow,wick,boldin,roberts,robinson,charles,armbrister,williams,bush,killebrew,bademosi,barnes

Other than qb and zenner/riddick and tackle, the depth is ALL Quinn

And tavon wilson is the starter hughes. Not bush

Decker and wilson the new starters. Taylor and van noy promoted. Reiff put to rt.

Marvin Jones out of necessity. Out of all the wrs in free agency, marvin jones is the closest to calvin. Hopefully its closer than expected.

So three brand new starters and depth added almost everywhere

And lions still plenty of cap space. Slay extended
