Landing a high-level transfer like that who can play immediately would take this team from very good to potentially F4 quality.

I agree. PG rotation is the one spot I'm worried about. Having X and a freshman, who is most likely not going to be ready to contribute much, could hurt the team's potential. I like X, but he's not going to be what we saw from Walton the final months of this season.

I believe Marcus Keene from CMU is transferring for his 5th year as well. He's only 5'9", but the kid is a scoring machine.

I think X sees much more in advance compared to the rest of the team. He tries to force feed a lot of bullet passes in the post that actually look good in theory, but the other guy never looks ready for it.

Nope, he declared for the NBA.

Welp, so much for that idea.

Did he hire an agent? I thought I had read that he was just testing the waters. Not sure he's a fit though anyway..

He's a fit. Shot 52% from the field, averaged 30 PPG and 5 APG. I'd take the nation's leading scorer playing with our group of guys any day.

I've seen him play a couple times, just seems like too much of a gunslinger to me. But it'd be an interesting experiment.

I'm a CMU grad/slap, and I just don't think he'd fit this team.

He's a complete chucker and has to dominate the ball.

Has to dominate the ball on CMU. He would not have to do that at Michigan. He could be like Isaiah Thomas was at Washington.
