The team was deflated after Peters went down it was plain as day. Unacceptable.

The offense was struggling with Peters too. Had excellent field position and failed to score points. Serious issues with the play calling and offensive game plan. Continuing to try to run in inside after Higdon went out (though he was still able to come in to block). I was really surprised by the collapse of the defense in the second half. They just seemed to open up on the run after shutting it down in the first half. Not good when your defense gets weaker during the game rather than stronger. But then again when the offense is going three and out I guess the defense got worn out.

Hopefully, the team will play with some pride and purpose next week.

Also drive killing dropped balls that weren't thrown well, but were still reachable. Little on Peters - little on receivers/tight ends.

That's not what I was thinking this morning, but it is now.

The Saturday before Thanksgiving was always kind of an unofficial holiday when M played OSU this day in the not so long ago.

It was kind of like the unofficial start of the holiday season.

The playcalling was so gross. Every time Peters threw the ball, it worked. Every time the team ran, it didn't.

At some point, you gotta scrap the run and spread it out.

I didn't even go to Michigan and the game will still be on, win or lose, even as ugly as expect it to be.

Still on the Harbaugh train 100%. Before things felt hopeless and not even competitive. Now it feels like there is potential even if it seems like we're snake bit or there's always some key part missing. Last year was so close - ball bounces the other way a few times and the whole conversation is different. This year expectations were less going in.

Today was Jim Harbaugh's worst loss during his tenure. Worse than any Penn State or Ohio State or Michigan State loss. I am 100% behind him. But this loss was avoidable. I am not convinced that Madison was better than Ann Arbor today.

At least you guys were fortunate to have a very light schedule(8 teams that will finish with a losing record) with this young team. That extra practice time before a bowl game is big.
