Shortly after Hair Drumpfkopf asked Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau whether his country burned down the White House in 1812, Heather Nauert one-upped him with this "gem".

Seeking to soothe feathers ruffled by comments from the US ambassador to Berlin, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert only made it worse by citing the Allied landings in Normandy as an example of US ties with Germany.

?We have a very strong relationship with the government of Germany,? Nauert said at a press briefing on Tuesday. ?Looking back in the history books, today is the 71st anniversary of the speech that announced the Marshall Plan. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the D-Day invasion. We obviously have a very long history with the government of Germany, and we have a strong relationship with the government of Germany.?

LMFAO...this woman simply doesn't possess enough gray matter to rub together, and be affected by the sonic disturbances...send her to China!!

Nauert in China: "We've always had good relations with China. For decades we sold their people much of our best opium. And we even had immigration laws specifically about them. Not many ethnicities can say that! and look at all the things we've done for people of Chinese heritage who live in Taiwan."

That kinda sounds like Ben Shapiro-level reasoning. it goes like this:

When called to defend the indefensible:

1) cite things generally (laws, legal opinions, books), without citing the specific holdings, or relevant portions of the text, knowing hardly anyone will ever actually read them;

2) and even if someone does read them, the sort of people who support right wing policies like the Iraq war, assault rifles in Churches and schools, the Drug War, kicking single moms off welfare, etc. won't be swayed by logic or reason. so even if one did point out the inconsistencies between the "claim" and the "evidence" it won't matter;

3) and even if it starts to matter, the only people who typically read this stuff are lawyers, doctors, or college professors, and you can just call them out-of-touch elitists, (because knowledge, experience, and intelligence are all understood to be bad things in 21st century America) and so people will ignore them.

I kinda don't blame him for bringing up The War of 1812 like that though.

it was so crazy, it's still all fresh on Americans' minds; we really haven't had time to sort things out, like who burned down what, and why.

Well...if Canada didn't do it, then maybe it never really happened at all, and the fledgling librul meedia created one of their first false flags evar.

Not too long after:

Remember the Maine: A slogan of the Spanish-American War. The United States battleship Maine mysteriously exploded and sank in the harbor of Havana, Cuba, in 1898. Stirred up by the yellow press (see yellow journalism), the American public blamed the sinking on Spain, which then owned Cuba.

Not to mention that Hop Sing had an important role in settling the Murkin West as chief cook and bottle-washer on Bonanza. As well as the heroic Grasshopper (Kwai Chang Caine) on Kung Fu. Who hasn't taken advantage of having their Be Best Sunday go to meeting toggery cleaned @ one or more of their dry-cleaner establishments here in the US?

This is in the context of justifying tariffs against Canada as a security issue, right?

Didn't some guy in Baltimore write a poem about re-capturing escaped slaves who were fighting for the Canadian army against the United States, and burning shit like the White House down and shit, and returning them to their Antebellum Southern Gentry slave owners?

Yeah

On the heels of Lebron Jame's statement about going to the Whitehouse

"I know no matter who wins this series, no one wants an invite anyway. It won't be Cleveland or Golden State going," James said.

Trump did make a reasonable comment though (maybe a first)

Trump said he would consider pardon applications submitted by players who have participated in protests during the anthem.

"I'm going to ask them to recommend to me people that were unfairly treated -- friends of theirs or people that they know about -- and I'm going to take a look at those applications," he said. "And if I find, and my committee finds, that they're unfairly treated, then we will pardon them or at least let them out."

He's a good president.

He obviously has no clue about why they kneel or refuse to participate in the past practice of honoring championship sports teams, b/c they know that Trump will use them in an attempt to enhance and improve his own approval ratings.

Can't recommend dead people, or an ingrained practice of cops profiling and targeting minorities in general for abuse, harassment, beatings, woundings, and killings.

Trump doesn't know the pledge of allegiance and doesn't know God Bless America..

He's a fucking idiot and this whole NON-issue is blatantly pandering to the most ignorant and most racist elements of his "base."

fuck him and the people who voted for him.

Looks like Nike signed Kaepernick for their renewed "Just do it" campaign.

Kaepernick also posted a Nike ad featuring his face and wrote: “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. (Hashtag) JustDoIt”

Shares of Nike Inc. dropped 2 percent. People opposed to Kaepernick began posting videos of them burning or cutting up Nike gear to social media in protest.

Oh, this is horrible.

Nike should immediately drop him in order to appease the racist white trash people offended by this.

If you?re burning Nike products to support veterans instead of giving them to homeless veterans whose health care has been shit for decades then maybe it?s time to question what you?re really so upset about.

Shares of Nike Inc. dropped 2 percent.

Just to further expound upon that because I was curious:
