Game 16: Lions @ Packers Thread

    Stafford fucking this team again.

Game 12: Rams @ Lions Thread

The Bears are getting bailed out. There is no way Manute Bol could’ve caught that pass. That was not PI.

Game 11: Bears @ Lions *Thanksgiving Day* Thread

Stafford sucks. I refuse to give him the benefit of the doubt anymore. He’s been in the league for ten years and still makes mistakes that high school players know not to do. He has the second highest cap hit this season but he’s not even in the top 20 quarterbacks. He’s a waste of a roster...

Game 11: Bears @ Lions *Thanksgiving Day* Thread

I don’t blame Patricia. He was pretty much forced to keep Cooter, and we have nobody outside of Slay (sometimes) that’s worth a fuck on defense. Give him at least next year to see what he can do with some defensive players in the draft and a OC who knows what he’s doing.

My 4 yo daughter wants to be a serial killer. I?m afraid to fall asleep and I fear I won?t make it to 2021.

Game 11: Bears @ Lions *Thanksgiving Day* Thread

The worst part of Stafford and his extremely high hit on the cap penalty is that to get out of it he needs to retire or die and I don’t know what to root for.

Game 11: Bears @ Lions *Thanksgiving Day* Thread

Stafford is the highest paid game manager QB. I’d rather pay Trent Dilfer the minimum and spend the money on defense.

How do you miss that obvious holding?

Game 11: Bears @ Lions *Thanksgiving Day* Thread

They better fucking fire Pussy, I mean Cooter, with a ten day layoff and install something else. I’m more pissed we won last week and dropped out of the top five in the draft.

Why are you a Lions fan?

I grew up in Portland, Indiana and never really liked football until high school. I never had a team to root for (all of my family members are Colts fans, so I didn't want to root for them). I remember the 2001 Thanksgiving game when Mike McMahon ran around like a chicken with his head cut...

CJ wins NFL play of the year.

The Dallas catch was better than that.

    Jim Tressell Lions OC??????

Agreed. I doubt a truer statement has ever been written here before.

    Caldwell's Staff

How much of the wide 9 was on Washburn? Was it his scheme or Schwartz's?
  14. derrydancingclown

    Caldwell's Staff

If anyone stays it has to be Washburn, right? I thought the OL would be a weakness this year but they were the strength of the team. Plus, I know that Mayhew and Xander deserve credit for finding Waddle but you cant tell me that Washburn didn't have a huge part in Waddle's play this last season.

    Jim Tressell Lions OC??????

That sounds like something Lewand would say. He may be good with money but there is no way he should be giving interviews or quotes. What a deusch.

    Lazor to the Fins

Watch for Clyde Christensen to be named OC now. He is the current QB coach in Indy.
  17. derrydancingclown

    Off/Def Coordinators

If he didn't do anything then why the fuck do they have QB coaches? You cant tell me that when Vick was the starter and Kelly and the OC spent all their time with him that the QB coach wasn't working with Foles and the other backups. I guarantee that he had a lot to do with the success of the QBs.
  18. derrydancingclown

    Off/Def Coordinators

If these are the guys they choose, I am excited. Does anyone know if Washburn has been relieved or if he has a chance to stay with the new regime?
  19. derrydancingclown

    Off/Def Coordinators

Look what Foles did this season. He was amazing and I am sure that Kelly helped but I would think the QB coach would get a lot of the credit. Foles looked amazing. Plus if he doesn't turn out to be great so what? He has to be better than Linehan, right?

    Caldwell hired

I wished they had kept Washburn around.
