there's more, but some of you have covered the main ones.

wow, that's an eclectic mix.

that song "Kiss Them For Me" ... that's an obscure one. I remember that. Her delivery is so weird, it almost sounds like she's speaking another language.

I can't believe no one posted The Offspring sooner. I remember those videos being on CONSTANTLY when I was in 8th-9th grade.

And... I always liked that Toadies song. Seems like people either loved it or hated it. I remember going on a camping trip with this chick years later, and I put that on the mix tape I made for it. brings back memories.

I first heard a Siouxsie and the Banshees song, being the one used for the "Batman Returns" movie soundtrack, titled "Face to Face" She and her band rarely had any mainstream airplay, and a guy that I worked with went to see many concerts back in the early 90s, and often used to wear many obscure music/bands/groups' concert-purchased t-shirts, and one of them was from one of their concerts. I never was that much into goth or punk in the 80s, so I never listened to bands or groups associated with that type of music, like for example Bauhaus, Black Flag, or The Cure, the latter one of whose members, Robert Smith, performed live with Siouxsie and her band in the 80s.

Anyway I decided to buy one of her compilation CDs , titled "Twice Upon A Time" and was hooked. Went to see the band perform live @ the State Theater in Detroit in '95.

I was going to ask... who sings "Kiss them for me." That's Siouxsie and the Banshees?

this one was junior year in high school...

kind of obscure, and originally released in 1989, BUT didn't chart in the U.S. until 1991, so...
