2017 NFC Playoff Thread

you need to start listening to the rest of us instead of being a delusional homer.

You are wrong about this team. They lost a ton of close games which made it harder down the stretch. Injuries were the main reason for 6 losses this year. Oline and Dline injuries specifically and some Stafford ankle issues against Saints and Vikings

You are not right. You are lucky this is the fluke scenario playing out for this talented Lions team. They will add more talent. Every year the Quinn will get more. Ansah too injured too trust anymore. Ngata done with a major injury and Hyder. So Dline a must. Oline need to stay healthy. Swanson, Decker, Lang and Wagner all dealing with injuries this year

And how many times is Stafford going to hurt his throwing hand. I see no other QBs have this problem. It's now 3 times Stafford has hurt his throwing hand from freak plays hitting or helmet or this time stepped on

no, I am not wrong...you live in a fantasy land. Injuries happen to every team.

This team is NOT good and they continue to prove it. They have played in 7 games vs. likely playoff teams and they are 1-6 in those games. The defense is shit. The team gives up 25.7 points per game which is tied for 26th with the winless Browns. They just got their asses kicked by Baltimore and the game vs. MN wasn't as close as the score indicated.

The Lions will lose at least one more game but could easily lose more.

No team is missing most of their D and Oline or having them hurt all the time (Ansah/Lang). Throw in gimpy Stafford, Tavon Wilson, Davis earlier in year, Agnew, now Abudllah, both backup guards.

Detroit has one more shot at this but need to play much better than they have the last two weeks. at Tampa and Chicago better be wins. at Bengals and Packers with Rodgers will be tougher

Vikings literally have nobody hurt on defense. Griffen, Hunter/Robinson, Tom Johnson, Joseph, Kendricks, Barr, Gedeon, Rhodes,Waynes,Newman, Alexander, Smith and Sendejo. All healthy. Every single one.

Vikings have Bradford, Cook and Remmers. I'd say Keenum is better than Bradford which is a very very rare scenario. Lions need a better vet backup QB this offseason.

Cook is only big loss. Rashod Hill playing well for Remmers. You can get away with one Oline player hurt. Not most of them and backup guards too. And RBs can be replaced. Murry and McKinnon have been productive in the league before. Riddick is a good backup but Lions need a power back.

boo hoo

Ravens had every single starter healthy too until Jimmy Smith got hurt on defense. Ravens missing two guards but Hurst and Skura are decent backups.

And Lions started moving the ball well on the backup 1st round rookie CB until the pressure at the end caused the pick.

Very injured Lions versus very healthy Ravens

Healthy team versus not healthy team

And uncharacteristic terrible ST day from Detroit. Prater misses, bad punt, big return allowed on a short kick, personal foul penalty, no good returns with Agnew hurt

The bomb to Maclin and two short fields for TDs and a short field for late first half FG

Lions need to start forcing turnovers again. Hard with an injured pass rush

Still trying to make excuses for this season? Grow up

Legit reasons for losses. Lions could have played better in certain spots too but they probably would have if healthier. Chicken and the egg

Not reasons, excuses. Any comment about the game possibly being won by us after LOSING is an excuse.

Injuries can be a reason for a loss. Ravens and Vikings and Saints and Panthers and Steeler were healthier teams than us. So they won the game due to that

You're not smart enough to understand how injuries can impact games. It's ok. One day you'll understand

How did you not learn how to lose before now? Jesus, I was probably 8 when excuses and whining became unacceptable and were punishable offenses. Once again, grow up Sally
