Pride Of Detroit Lions PODcast hands out free agency grades, talks new NFL rules. 65minutes.
The PODcast crew recaps free agency, talks Lions TE depth and debates targeting in the NFL on the latest episode.

Free agency is coming to a close and the PODcast is a bit relieved. There has been a widespread range of emotions, varying from impatience, to frustration, to elations, to panic and just about everything in between. But all of those emotions have one thing in common: they?re likely premature and exaggerated.

So the PODcast is here to bring calm and clarity to the Detroit Lions and their four weeks of free agency. We discuss the new faces from last week, what it means for Detroit?s depth chart, and then we hand out some free agency grades to recap it all.

This week on the PODcast:
The Lions have a new tight end with a funny name. What will Levine Toilolo?s role be in 2018 and what does it mean for Detroit?s draft plan?

What?s the deal with all of these one-year contracts? What is Bob Quinn?s plan for the future?

Ryan, Jeremy and Chris hand out free agency grades for the Lions, and there?s a lot of disagreement there.

There?s a new targeting rule coming to the NFL. Is it a necessary evil or just another way for refs to negatively impact the game?

Paul Pasqualoni is calling plays on defense. EVERYONE PANIC.

Mailbag discusses the best brunch food and drinks, changes the Lions mascot and debates if there?s anyone the Lions shouldn?t trade for two first-round picks (Matthew Stafford aside).

Another draft workout: Lions TE coach Chris White worked out Western Michigan FB/TE Donnie Ernsberger.
