Detroit Lions Podcast Episode 160 ? Lions, the NFL, and Artificial Intelligence. 88 minutes.

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case Bring the last great blast before Lions training camp kicks off. We remind you about the big Detroit Lions Podcast Training Camp Party, Fantasy Football, go through This Week In Reddit, take your calls and delve into AI and its effect on the NFL with Professor of Computing & Information Konstantinos Pelechrinis from the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt).

In this show we fill in more details around the Detroit Lions Podcast Training Camp Party! It?s all going down on August 4th at the Uptown Grille in Commerce Township from 6pm ? 9pm. There will be food, drinks, prizes, a live streamed (audience interactive) podcast, special guests, and a whole lot more! Since we?re doing all of this in a private room, be ready for the ultimate in pants-free podcasts! Hosting the live show will be Chris, Jeff Risdon, Erik Schlitt, and everyone?s video hero, Sandman.

We spend some time discussing one of our favorite announcers and a great friend of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Jim Brandstatter, and the situation with his contract at WJR. Chris discusses what led him to write the article discussing Jim and how he has affected his life. The boys talk about what it means for fans and what to look for going forward. We all agree, we?re going to miss Jim dearly.

In This Week In Reddit, we talk about some of the ratings recently passed out by PFF and ESPN, Case also weighs in on his thoughts on both places. The ratings provide an interesting opportunity to take a look at the Lions offensive capabilities this year as well as take a look at some of the unknowns while speculating on how things may change.

We also discuss Dan Orlovsky?s new gig and what he might have to say about it (spoiler: more when than what) and have some fun with Darius Slay and his Twitter game.

Don?t forget about the Detroit Lions Podcast Fantasy Football League ? signups are now open and you can win real money by playing with/against the Detroit Lions Podcast crew. We tell you how to sign up during the show, but here?s a link so you can get your spot while listening to the show.

Watch Graham Glasgow nail this Golden Tate impression.
Move over, T.J. Lang. Graham Glasgow may be the team?s funniest lineman.
The Detroit Lions media department is up to it again. After yestesday?s ?What?s in the Box?? game, Tori Petry and gang one-upped themselves by asking Lions players to do impressions of their peers. Though it devolved into more of a ?Password? type of game, the entire video is worth it to watch. Graham Glasgow comes out as the star of the game, and his impression of Golden Tate (1:50 mark) is priceless.
