Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah tells me he's in "a gradual process" to getting back to being fully back to his old self. When asked if he feels at this point he could play every down, similar to how he did in previous years, Ansah said it's still a process but "when the time comes, yeah, you all are going to see me out there." This, of course, is something Ansah is looking forward to. Ansah said the ramp-up to him playing more snaps is something that just worked out.
"It just happened to just fall in place," Ansah said. "I just come out, practice and prepare myself for Sunday and whatever happens, happens." Ansah is playing on the franchise tag this year and is scheduled to be a free agent after the season. He has played as a situational edge rusher the past two games.
He has two sacks this season.
