Pride Of Detroit Lions Podcast: NFC North offseason recap: What the heck are the Packers doing? 77 minutes.
A Packers analyst tells it like it is.

It?s time to leave our little bubble for a second here. We?ve obsessed over the Detroit Lions? moves enough over the last five months. It?s time to broaden our scope and at least look out to the rest of the NFC North.

So on Sunday, we kicked off our three-part PODcast series of getting an outside perspective from other NFC North analysts. Our journey begins in Green Bay, where the reigning NFC North champion Packers are having themselves one heck of a confusing offseason. After spending like crazy last offseason, Green Bay made just a tiny whimper in free agency this year.

But the real fireworks came on draft weekend. They drafted?and traded up?for Jordan Love, despite having Aaron Rodgers essentially locked up on their roster for the next three years. Then they drafted a running back, despite having a top-10 talent in Aaron Jones. Then they followed it up by drafting the third tight end off the board in a historically untaltend tight end class.

So what the hell are the Packers doing, and have they already lost their grasp on the NFC North lead? We asked our good friend Matub from Acme Packing Company all of these questions and more. And believe me, you?re going to want to check this out.

For one, he uttered this sentence:
?Matt Stafford?do I have to say this out loud?probably the best quarterback in the North?

Yes. That?s right. A Green Bay Packers fan just said he believes John Matthew Stafford is the best quarterback in a division with Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, and whatever the Bears are doing at quarterback.

I promise you there?s a lot more that you?re going to love to hear from the podcast, so enjoy the weather outside, take a moment to appreciate those who have served, and enjoy 74 minutes of Packers schadenfreude. You won?t regret it.
