The Lions activated DE Armonty Bryant from the exempt list and signed LB Steve Longa off the practice squad.
They cut WR Aaron Dobson and OL Brian Mihalik to make room for them.

By not calling up a running back, this either means the Lions think there's a decent shot Dwayne Washington (ankle) could play despite being doubtful on the injury report or they feel comfortable going into Sunday's game with two running backs: Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner.
Michael Burton, the fullback, could be a RB in a pinch. If you're desperate for a RB in fantasy, it might be worth taking a flier on Zenner this week.
I asked Lions HC Jim Caldwell about if he'd be comfortable with two backs and he said "we'll see. We've done it before."
