The Lions re-signed Steve Longa to the practice squad and released Zaviar Gooden. Longa was active for last Sunday's game against Philadelphia.

Justin Forsett's deal with the Lions is a one year vet minimum deal. He'll get $885,000 in base salary with no signing bonus or incentives. That base salary will be prorated so his cap number and cash number are $624,706.
