Monday Night Football not always kind for Detroit Lions but Giants offer hope.
Mlive

The Detroit Lions have a sub-.500 record on the NFL's biggest stage with a 13-18-1 record on Monday Night Football since making their first appearance in 1970, when they beat the Chicago Bears 28-14 at Tiger Stadium in the third MNF game ever played.

They played five MNF games at Tiger Stadium, posting a 3-2 record, but weren't as successful in 12 MNF games at The Silverdome, where they had a 5-7 record. Since moving into Ford Field, the Lions are 2-2 on Monday night. On the road, the Lions have a 3-7-1 record on MNF.

They've played Chicago more often than any other team and have a 4-2 record against the Bears on MNF. The upcoming road game against the Giants will mark the third time the teams have met on MNF. The Lions have won both.
