Detroit Lions - Team Notes

Lions Notes:

Golden Tate leads all WRs in missed tackles, receptions from slot.
Hopefully he won?t be out for long.
Golden Tate is currently Pro Football Focus? No. 5 wide receiver in the league. In the writeup of their top 10 list, PFF dropped these two interesting facts:
Tate has forced 13 missed tackles this season. No other receiver in the entire NFL has forced more than eight.
No receiver is as elusive as Tate is, and his 29 receptions from the slot also leads the NFL.

I?m only telling you this so that you have a couple months to mentally prepare. Aaron Rodgers could potentially return for the regular season finale against the Detroit Lions.

This is something interesting to think about from PFF. Apparently Darren Fells hasn?t been run blocking as well as you probably think:
Lions drafted a run blocking TE and signed 1, both are being out performed by Ebron.
Run Block Grades
Ebron -75.4
Roberts- 58.1
Fells -46.3

Golden Tate had his right arm in a sling Saturday afternoon at a tailgate conversation in South Bend, Indiana before the Notre Dame-USC game.
Tate posted video of himself on Instagram with the arm in a sling. He injured his shoulder Sunday against New Orleans.

Lions injury update: Golden Tate’s right arm is in a sling.
It definitely looks like Golden Tate will be out for a few weeks.
