Jim Caldwell is participating in the my cause, my cleats campaign wearing cleats representing the Midnight Golf program -- and he said it's not about playing golf at night. It's a mentoring and tutoring program while also learning the game of golf. Many Lions players and coaches are wearing cleats for various causes.

Jim Caldwell said he doesn't think there's one thing that's keeping his team from beating playoff teams. Said it's "very difficult." Just have to play "good, solid football consistently." Lions have beaten one likely playoff team this season -- Minnesota on the road.

Ameer Abdullah and T.J. Lang return to practice for the Lions. Travis Swanson and Jamal Agnew remain out during the open portion of practice.

Ameer Abdullah on whether or not he'll be playing Sunday against the Ravens: "Sure hope so but you got to ask coach Caldwell." Abdullah missed Wednesday and Thursday in practice before returning to practice Friday.

Minnesota quarterback Case Keenum was not fined for taunting against the Detroit Lions when he allegedly flipped the ball at Ezekiel Ansah following a sack. Also, Akeem Spence was not fined for unsportsmanlike conduct against the Vikings.

Pride Of Detroit Lions Podcast Lions-Ravens preview. The battle for special teams supremacy. 46 minutes.
It?s a battle between to 6-5 teams, and two of the best special teams units.

Lions-Ravens preview topics:
How bad are the Lions screwed if T.J. Lang and Travis Swanson can?t play?

Kyle gives us the rundown of just how devastated the Ravens are from season-long injuries.

This Ravens pass offense is bad. Like, unbelievably bad. Definitely not elite.
We talk about both special teams units, and Kyle reminds us of a very bad memory while we try to cut his mic.

Will Alex Collins become the next running back to chip away at this Lions defense?

I give an optimistic prediction for Sunday, while Kyle and Ryan predict DOOM.
