Dylan Larkin is special

Looks like we finally found someone who can step in when Pavel retires. The Wings have been amazing at finding top shelf players right as the old guard is moving on. Here's hoping Larkin is around for another 20 years of playoff teams.

Yea hes a special player. You can teach a lot of things to players, but speed, that you cannot teach, and he is one of the fastest players ive ever watched....

Not simply foot speed. He reads and acts faster than any young player I've seen on the Wings (I'm a little too young to remember rookie Yzerman). He's making the next play before his teammates often even realize what's going on. That's the kind of thing that can't be taught, and that will only make him better and better with more experience.
