Exit Drake Harris

Prepare for accusations of Harbaugh running people off as soon as we have a good year.

what's with these guys publicly announcing before the season is already over?

I think Speight said something about getting a jump on the transfer decision, but... really? How? Okay, start thinking about where you might want to go, but why announce publicly right now? It looks really self-centered.

Awesome! Can't wait to see what he does during this recruitment!!!

Seriously, where's he gonna go? Wayne St?

Good luck to him. Injury riddled career at UM. Never really produced. Had 9 catches for 60 yards and zero TDs over his career. I think we can replace that production.

Speight mentioned that "several" schools had contacted him since his announcement. Maybe this is a way of announcing their availability. Then potential schools will line up for their services...

And Malzone did nothing

Harris is another like speight who got their degree snd want to play open
I am sure Jim told them there was no guarantee for a scholarship

The timing of these transfers actually makes sense to me. The season is over. There?s a meaningless exhibition game to play, however, that I?d just as soon see Michigan skip.

You're not excited about our chances in the Nad's Natural Hair Removal Bowl?

This is about the early signing period, have to process kids out to make room for a bigger class in December/February. JaRaymond Hall also gone, didn't even get to make a trip to a Bowl game.

It's what Harbaugh is running there, it is what it is, he's taken what Urban and Saban were already doing and gotten more creative with it. You work within the system to gain an advantage, this(Hall) is just flat out processing, but frankly, his process of bringing kids in early and graduating them in 3 or 3-1/2 years so they can transfer out is just smart and is better than just discarding kids who don't cut it. At least they get an undeclared degree from Michigan and can go try to play elsewhere for a year or even two.

It gives the schools that do it a huge advantage in that they get to process about 25-40 more kids over a 4 year period to try to find the 50 that can play. Another way to run things is to see the value in 5th year bench players that might never see the field, but will be leaders off the field, and will help build and maintain a certain culture. For a school that cares more about recruiting than any in the country, Harbaugh's way of doing things will ensure 25-30 kid classes year after year.

Timing doesnt bother me at all
Some schools may have trouble rcruiting and woukd welcome grad transfer

Some of these kids might actually want to look at optins and grad progams

This is a good time to plan for where they will be starting june

And a chance some might be december graduates and done academically

Last two classes were 29 and 30. Also to help make up for the minimal number of recruits in 2015 and 2014.

I thought M was a destined to play in the N-95 Mask Dust Bowl this year.

we seem doomed to play in the Outback Bowl more often than not, because of that Brady Hoke/Dantonio Outback Bowl shirt meme from dannydiggler that pops up on the random photos here all the time.
