RIP to The Capitol Punisher. 87 years old.

I know he was a Tiger for a brief period, but I'll always remember him as a Senator.

The Gentle Giant was a very good player and a good man, Any team he played for, he was well liked and respected. RIP Frank Howard.

Frank Howard was just bigger than everyone else. I think this pic was from the A.L. Starting Lineup introductions to the 1969 All-Star game.
Bill Freehan, Rico Petrocelli, Sal Bando, Frank Howard, Boog Powell, and Frank Robinson, Reggie Jackson, Rod Carew, and looks like a Tiger uniform and of Mayo Smith. Previous years managers of teams in the world series manage the next years all-star game.

Frank Howard in Tigers uniform.

I'm glad I found this picture of Frank Howard and the 1972 Tigers when they clinched the division over the red sox by a half a game.
