From Cedar Cove.

Treat Williams, much beloved Muiti generational actor, departed age 71.

Sadder still is that his life was ended short, because people are in such a hurry they don't take time to think about those of us who ride motorcycles. I hope the person who hit and killed him is charged and sentenced appropriately.

I hope so.

It would appear the authorities have already deposed whomever it is

Barbie did get back to me when I reached out to her about Treet?s passing.

You?re pretty much the only poster to this board who seems to know who she is.

She didn?t respond to me when I reached out after Ray Liotta passed.

This time she told me that she loved me and my wife, and we are in her thoughts and prayers.

My connection with Barbie was through my first wife, whom was a very toxic person (we do dumb shit when we?re young) and their relationship ended with toxicity.

Oh well.

Life is life.

Let the sunshine in.

Treat Williams RIP

I was watching a episode of Svu season 13 episode 10 called Spiraling Down? where he plays a retired nfl qb with diminished functions this was in 2011 so cte was a big issue in the nfl. Anyway I like looking up the guest stars to see where they are at and what they are doing and when I looked up Williams I found out he was killed in a vehicle crash last June. He was driving a Motorcycle.

On June 12, 2023, Williams was involved in a motorcycle crash on Vermont Route 30, in Dorset. According to the Vermont State Police (VSP), a 2008 Honda Element in the southbound lane turned into the path of Williams' motorcycle in the northbound lane, and Williams was unable to avoid colliding with it.[36][37] He was airlifted to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at the age of 71.[38] The cause of death was "severe trauma and blood loss as a result of the crash", according to the medical examiner.[39]

On July 20, 2023, VSP completed its investigation, turning its results over to the Office of Bennington County State Attorney Erica Marthage, which would decide whether charges would be brought.[40] On August 1, 2023, VSP announced that the Office of Bennington County State's Attorney had completed its investigation of the accident. The office requested that VSP give Ryan Koss, the driver of the Honda that hit Williams, a citation and charge him with "grossly negligent operation resulting in death". Koss will be formally charged in September at an arraignment in the criminal division of Vermont Superior Court in Bennington.[41][42][43][44][45]

On August 4, 2023, Koss issued a statement through his attorney Ian Carleton, saying that he had obeyed all traffic rules and that the charges against him were "unwarranted". The statement offered condolences to the Williams family and asked for privacy. The charge of "grossly negligent operation resulting in death" is a felony charge in the state of Vermont, with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.[46]

On September 25, 2023, Koss was arraigned in an appearance before Bennington County Superior Court. He pled not guilty to gross negligent operation resulting in death.
