If I had to pick anyone to feel bad for, it's Gardner. You can tell he's just taken too much punishment to succeed at this point. The kid has been beaten up because Hoke can't put together an offensive line to save his life, and he has to run around like a chicken. Not saying he's done anything noteworthy, but maybe he would have had a chance to be a good Michigan QB if he was allowed more than .5 seconds to throw or run.

I feel bad for Shlissel. He always wanted to be the University president of a major college football power; and just look at what he's stuck with.
