Lions put Ameer Abdullah on injured reserve. this sucks.
PFT

Some more on Ameer Abdullah to IR.
This means Theo Riddick becomes the Lions' No. 1 running back with an increased role for rookie Dwayne Washington.
Zach Zenner, who has been inactive the first two weeks of the season, could have a larger role going forward.
Detroit also signed RB George Winn to the practice squad. He has familiarity with the system so he could be a late call-up if necessary.
Detroit has only had three RBs (plus fullback Michael Burton) active each week.

That sucks for him. Any fantasy players out there...go grab Washington...I just did.

Detroit also signs LB Zaviar Gooden, RB George Winn to practice squad;
releases G Chase Farris, WR Isaac Fruechte from practice squad.

The Vikings strength is their defense. Bradford is pretty good scramble job after losing a QB in August. McKinnon has a good YPC on his career and Peterson wasn't playing well to start. Kalil is a lose but he was a below average left tackle.

Week 11 against Jaguars is when Abdullah would be eligible to return after going on IR.

Hughes gets his wish of only 3 RBs and full back on the roster with 5 WRS now. Congrats hughes.

Injuries galore already just two weeks in all over the league, NFL can't keep players on the field anymore even with all the stupid ticky tacky rules designed to protect players from injuries, maybe they made it worse. Just another reason to not like the product anymore.

AP weather he runs or not helps the QB. I'm not so sure Bradford stays health to finish the season. In any event, every team loses players. AP over Abdullah by a ton.

Why don't you create a new thread and keep your "I have the NFL" talk in there.. Thank you.

Not this year so far. Abdullah has been much better. Titans shut down Peterson.

And almost every lb and ansah more important than bridge water replaced by Bradford and kalil

Detroit continues to prove that undersized 2nd rd picks will just continually get injured in the nfl. Welcome to the best/broyles club ameer!

I'm sure that the TN game plan was to shut down AP since they had Shawn Hill at QB that game. I can say with certainty that no NFL team has gone into a Lions game worried about Abdullah.

On the other hand...maybe the TN defense is good. Both Stafford and Hill had similar performances vs. TN.

Him injuring his foot has nothing to do with his size, just a foot injury, no need to make it any bigger than what it is. Look at Zenners injury last year, he broke ribs and collapsed a fucking lung. Shit happens
