If a tennis pro had won 4 U.S. Opens, twice at Wimbledon and one Australian Open, let alone during the era of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, that alone would put that player in rarified air, amongst the greatest singles players of all time.

Today, Rafael Nadal wins his 13th French Open, equaling Roger Federer?s career all time record of 20 major championships.

Both the champion?s and the runner up?s trophies look like something one would use to cook or serve food with.

Isn't it more like the Federer and Nadal era, not Djokovic?

Maybe.

Maybe the addition of the joker is a subcategory of the Federer and Nadal.

Like Crosby Stills and Nash and then it was Crosby Stills Nash and Young.

Or Van Halen, and then the Sammy Hagar era of Van Halen.
