84 years old.

I curved my stick like his as an impressionable 10-year-old. Blowtorch and a vice. Northland Pros and SherWoods have only so much elasticity. One of my two sticks is still a SherWood.

Seems that the selected Twitter Bluechecks is (sic) reminding the world that he had a few documented, unsavory incidents involving his wives.

Curious that they waited till after he died to remind us. The NHL and its Franchises are more forgiving for the moment with their sentiments.

Bobby Hull aka The Golden Jet was a great hockey player and a great guy to the fans.

Case in point, it was maybe 1970 and the NHL All-Star game was played at the old Boston Garden. I'm in my early 20's and surprised my younger brother with tickets for the game. We are in North Station attached to the Garden, and in the crowd, and who is walking through all the people none other than Bobby Hull and he is standing right next to us. I say "Hi Bobby, it's great to see you, hope you score a goal". "Would you mind signing my brother's all-star game program"?
My Kid brother holds out the program for Bobby Hull and he smiles at him and signs it and walks through to the garden entrance.
Thank you again Bobby Hull. RIP.
