The Official MICHIGAN vs Noter Dame Prediction Thread

3 of ND's 5 all time highest scoring efforts vs Michigan have been in the last 5 meetings. Of course 2 we're under RR....so...whatever.

Say what, RABID?

??

38-0, M. Just like in 2003 and 2007.

back up prediction 21-16 M. we lead series all time 20-16-1. After Saturday we lead series 21-16 (drop the stupid tie) to mirror the score.

I have no tertiery prediction.

WTF? Stassen has the first game listed as 1898.

Some of my favorite scores of all time-
Michigan 130, West Virginia 0 (10/22/1904)
Michigan 128, Buffalo 0 (10/28/1901)
Michigan 119, Michigan State 0 (10/8/1902)
Michigan 107, Iowa 0 (11/8/1902)

meh. all we did was run off-tackle 25 times a game in those days...

I am totally new to these forums. I joined mostly because I want to join in the Tiger discussions, as I can never seem to catch enough Tigers talk on ESPN. I named myself twentythree in honor of Kirk Gibson.

As to this discussion:

A long time ago, I heard Purdue referred to as "Purdon't" and I think that's hilarious. Now I (in my own head) refer to Notre Dame as "Notre Don't." They were not good enough to be in the national title game last year!

45-21 Michigan.

ND gave up 228 yds passing to Temple and 134 yds rushing. ND had 355 yds passing and 188 yds rushing. But they only managed to score 28pts on Temple. So, ND emphasized the pass. Michigan only gave up 66 yds rushing to CMU, and 144 passing. Michigan had a pretty balanced offensive production. Avery is back, which will make the D backfield better. The Michigan D rush will pressure Reese causing bad decisions and INTs, and the stout run D continues forcing ND to keep passing. Michigan's D gets some national attention after this game. ND's D can't stop the Michigan offensive attack, which again shows a balanced rushing/passing attack. Norfleet gets a couple of exciting returns, but no returns for a TD.

GO BLUE! BEAT THE IRISH!

So as I'm leaving work Friday, my owner pulls me aside and says something has come up, He can't go Saturday night, and he wants Rabid under the lights at the BigHouse. I asked him if I needed to crawl under his desk, but was not necessary.

So sec 38, row 24, most amazing display of hype and fanfare ever for Me and my 2 boys, and one of their lucky friends. Directly behind us are two domers, and I hear the guy next to them saying "Today, I am against EVERYTHING you stand for. I disagree with everything you are saying and I detest everything you hold in esteem. I do not respect your team, your school, or your family. Today, I simply hate you. "

I turned around and said "VICTORS !?!?"
It wasn't Vic, but we were loud and obnoxious andPUMPED for the whole game.

Amazing.
