Prior to tonight?s game vs. Chicago (AL), the Tigers have reinstated RHP Erasmo Ram?rez from the 10-day injured list.

Jonathan Schoop has hired the Scott Boras Corporation to represent him.
The trade candidate and free agent after the year hit 10 of his 15 HR in June.

With all the injuries he has to deal with, If the Tigers can get to 75 wins,
AJ Hinch should be in the running for Manager of the Year.

Remember when Brad Ausmus benched Rajai Davis for stealing a base without his permission? New manager, new results.
No Detroit Tiger has stolen 20 bases in a season since Anthony Gose was an outfielder in 2015 (23 SB). Akil Baddoo just reached double digits on June 30.

Miguel Cabrera closed out June batting .329 (28-for-85) for the month with five doubles, three HR and 14 RBIs. First .300 month for him since June 2019.

April: 9-19 (-58 run differential)
May: 14-13 (+3 RD)
June: 14-13 (-14 RD)
First back-to-back months with a record over .500 since 2016.
One could surmise that Hinch spent the first month learning what he had been given. Months #2 and #3 was re-organizing and utilizing that talent to its fullest extent. Managers matter!

Gregory Soto and Jos? Cisnero are on Fire.

Maybe one day this will be a good team again.

Funny the Giants won 3 World Series. Then got bad. Then got good again fast.

The Tigers rebuild is like a turtle going across the road. Super slow Rebuild.

Thanks AA.

plate discipline

My Gosh, how many swings outside of the strike zone are we going go at. Its killing us.

White Sox blow the game open with 4 in the 9th inning 8 - 1,

White Sox 8 - Tigers 2: Close game turns into a rout in the ninth.
The Tigers had their chances, but the bullpen eventually put this one out of reach late.

for me there should be only 3 names in consideration. Baddoo, Mize, and Schoop. I vote Schoop.

Good to see the top of the order getting on base a ton, but this is the type of game where I wish we had a legit bat or 2 in the middle of the order.

Agreed, miggy and Jeimer don't belong anywhere near that list. If they wanted to list 5 then Soto and Cisnero would make much better options.
