Game 3: Lions @ Cardinals Thread

If they get the first overall pick, and take a DE, rather than a QB or move it... I guess I can't say I'd be surprised.

Game 3: Lions @ Cardinals Thread

I guess I wouldn't dislike that scenario seeing as how this team is so void of talent. What they SHOULD do when they are 0-4 or 0-5 is turn the team into the open market. Any reasonable offers for Golladay, Stafford, whoever, take them.

With a new GM and coach, they got damn better draft a new QB lol

For sure. And to be honest, I do not think we need to worry too much about what other teams are doing- the Lions are one of, if not the worst teams in the entire league. I will be stunned if they win 4 games.

Game 3: Lions @ Cardinals Thread

Have to disagree. I just do not see the teams that recently took a 1st round QB doing it again (Jets, Giants). Minnesota feels pretty committed to Cousins, and I just do not see them being at the bottom- they'll start winning games- too much talent. Don't see Philly giving up on Wentz yet...

Game 3: Lions @ Cardinals Thread

Well, it's going to depend who finishes in the bottom 2 in the NFL. Personally, I am equally as high on Justin Fields as Trevor Lawrence; I think they are both franchise QBs. Which of these teams that are just as shitty as the Lions would take a QB? Jax - Yes (Minshew) Carolina- Yes...

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

Yep my fault. Regardless, we just don't think alike. I think they are seriously lacking talent.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

So, you have said two different things: -They have the talent to be a top 5 defense. -They have enough talent to not give up 30 PPG. Do you see the difference in these two statements?

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

If you think there's enough talent here to be a top 5 defense, then there is nothing else to discuss.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

There's just a complete fundamental disagreement here. There is absolutely NOT too much talent. There is a CLEAR void of talent in this organization.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

For the sake of this discussion, let's just pick the best 2-3 teams from each conference. Using your last post, we'll say Stafford, Golladay, Ragnow, and Decker are our BEST players (and to be honest, I think you are overvaluing Decker. He's pretty good- I'm not going to call him great.) Who...

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

I am not concerned with the contracts. I'm concerned with the lack of any talent on this team. If there is any possible way they can get trade value in the form of high draft picks for Stafford/Golliday, get it done. There's nothing left to play for with this regime. Quinn's had four years to...

Flowers has been really good? Shit, I did not know he was still on the fucking team. I don't think they called his name on Sunday.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

I am going to keep my eyes peeled. I just have a feeling this is a game we could lose 38-21.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

So Arizona is -6 currently against Detroit. I'm STRONGLY debating rolling into MGM grand and throwing down 1k on Arizona.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

Oh trust me, I'm not giving up on Okudah at all- that's not the point. Just brought it up to show the dysfunction in the program.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

Yeah, he said some wanted Tua, some wanted Simmons.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

NO idea how much truth there is to it. Valenti just said he had a couple people who work for the org said that no one wanted Okudah, but Quinn swooped in and overruled everybody.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

In a rare moment, I agree with most of this. The only thing I disagree with is the needing a win in the next two. This season is over and this team has no talent. Winning meaningless games at this point does nothing for their future.

I would have been OK if Fox switched this game over to any other televised game.
