    The trade is hard to accept. The numbers Rick put up were trending in the right direction. He is developed and will probably go on to have a nice season for the Red Sox. On the flip side, when the post season starts - Where is Rick Porcello? He does nothing for us in the playoffs.

    I think the Cabrera contract is not bad. Everywhere I go in Michigan I see a random jersey every once in awhile. Gotta figure Jersey sales of a player into a signing. I am sure there are at least 1 million Caberea jerseys out there. At $100 a pop Cabrera is an ATM for Detroit.

    Porcello looked like a pitcher that turned the corner last year. No need to trade him. There are plenty of corner OF guys on the free agent market that may be able to be picked up at the tail end of the off seaon for next to nothing with a 1 or 2 year commitment
