Division 6
Finals
Montague Wildcats (11-2) 70.222 at Jackson Lumen Christi Titans(12-0) 96.444.

Class size . Montague 445. JLC class since is 356.

The Wildcats are the bigger school class wise and have a 387-259-8 since 1950. They are 2-1 in state finals games losing in 1992 before going back to back in 2008-09. Their offense is scoring 531 and the defense has given up 189. They have 2 shutouts.

Jackson Lumen Christi Titans are a state private school powerhouse. Since 1968 they are 439-109. Points for and against stand at 450/132 this year with 3 shutouts including one playoff goose egg. I think they have made the playoffs 21 years in a row. If I counted championship games right they stand at 10-2 in title games and are currently back to back title holders. They play schools bigger than they are in the regular season every season.

JLC has to be a 10 point favorite but Montague has been known to pull a upset every now and then. They held Traverse City St Francis ro seven last weekend. I give them a shot. Albeit a slight one.

Have not had a chance to watch but score is tied at half 14-14. Looks like a decent game.
Then the second half started. It’s a JLC second half blowout. This will be three titles in a row for them and this is title number 11 since playoffs have been around. They have a sophomore, a freshmen and two juniors on The Titans starting Offense line.

Final JLC 42 Montague 28 Final. Three in a row for them.
