1980 the 9-7 Lions started 4-0 had a song finished 5-7 and lost out on a third tiebreaker. Losses to two crappy under .500 teams in heartbreak fashion (Bears And St Louis Cardinals) made the club 7-7. But two home wins made us 9-7 so we could lose division that 3rd tiebreaker :/

1981 had the same old Lion heartbreak !
