the broncos are fucking horrid. laughably horrid. you get a team that can run the football and this team will struggle against them. the broncos couldnt do what sf and atlanta did in the weeks prior. all this game was, was a game on the schedule that the lions had no excuse not to win if they were going to be a decent to good team. they need to fix that run defense though for the second half of the schedule.

It;s going to be a fight for the WC spots. But for the 1st time in 20 years I feel like we have a shot. Will it be easy no but we have a chance. We hold the tie breaker over TB and Dallas which will help but ATL has it over us which hurts. We need 4-5 wins. It very well could be that 10 wins wont be enough. We will need the Staff we saw yesterday. The key will be getting Nate and Titus more involved. I thought Nate would be more involved than he has been this year. What I really liked yesterday was they threw it to everyone then were able to get the big plays from Calvin. And I liked the running game we had. Much like last year we seem to have a better running game without Best. Although I really think had Mikel not gotten injured Best would have only been the 3rd down slot back this year.

didnt the patriots miss the playoffs with 11 wins when Brady got injured? I say they need 11 wins just to be sure. I dont think Philly or Dallas will go 7-2 the rest of the way. Chicago is not going to make it in the playoffs. They have Philly, Detroit, SD, Oakland and KC for their next five games. I chalk that up as 3-2 at best but probably 2-3, 1-4 at worst. Chicago is 9 wins at best but probably 7-8

There is a reason that 07 team went on to lose 23 out of its 24 next games..they had no talent. They were playing waayyy above their heads that season, getting incredibly timely TO's. That 6-2 start was all smoke and mirrors.

This team is much different.. they actually have play makers and dont have to play PERFECT to win a ball game. I expect them to go 4-4 the rest of the way, but could also see 5-3.

All I know is that when I see Tebow, and those slugs in Washington and a few other teams I'm so glad we drafted Stafford.

Also, the last time before 2007 the Lions started out 6-2 was in 1999, and that team finished 8-8, made the playoffs, but got killed by the Redskins 27-13, and it really wasn't even that close.

By slugs in Washington do you mean their quarterbacks or the politicians?

The game in Chicago is HUGE. They are starting to get fired up and were 4-3 last year and finished 7-2 for 11-5. Root for Philly to beat Chicago this week then take out Chicago next week. One game at a time.

idk.......putting Philly away would be more important, we dont play them and they have the capabilities of finishing strong. Chicago we can beat on our own or at least finish ahead in the WC tiebreaker

Philly we have a 2 game lead on and don't play. They lost to Atlanta, San Fran too. If they beat Chicago, so did we and we beat Dallas. No worry on tie breakers with Philly and they can only lose only 2 more to be 10-6 and Philly still has at NYG, NE, at Dallas and Jets. I want Chicago to lose.
