Backus and Avrils contracts are up. Wonder what will happen to both of them. Losing backus will really hurt us if we can't find a worthy replacement. At least Lojack and Willie are there to step in at DE.

Lojack/Young would put up simlar if not better numbers than avril. Avril better come cheap or hes gone cause at this point schwartz/mayhew has to feel that we need an upgrade at that position.

Backus will be back...if we somehow find a LT then he should replace cherilus at RT.

Backus injuries this season better wake the coaches up to finding 2 quality OTs this offseason, even if Backus plays for the Lions in 2012.
