Because today is the day we usually start hearing more rumors about who is interested in what. Plus, there's always the early signing option.

Let's try to keep this clear of discussion until the Draft starts tomorrow, unless there are trades or the Rams decide to Sign their first pick early.

Was that Manziel saying goodbye to his career.......because that draft was about how long it lasted!

At the very least it means he isn't happy with Swanson. That's comforting.

Just did a quick look at some of the mock drafts. Here is a site with 8 "experts". Only 3 have him going in the first round (picks 18,22,26)

Now....that doesn't mean shit because it only takes one team to agree with those 3 guys and he is gone.

Love it, if they feel he can be an instant upgrade. Center was a huge weakness, constantly needing guard help inside it seemed. Leaving tackles 1 on 1.

Trading down and extra picks is always a benefit, if we can get both that would be a huge win.

I wouldn't mind this scenario because we get more picks and we take care of OL or DL. I'm just not a big fan of Kelly. Would rather see us get a tackle if we go OL in round 1. Personally, I think Whitehair can play RT and we could get Skura in round 3 or 4. I'm hoping all those mock drafts are wrong and Conklin slips to us somehow.

All of the Mocks that I see that have the Lions taking a tackle it is Decker. Most mocks have Conklin being off the board by 16

I'd take Kelly over Decker because I think Decker will be a bust.

And hes tops at his position. So if one team values their need at center as high. ...then his stock raises and he's gone.

I'm okay with any of the names I've heard tied to the pick and about a dozen more I haven't even heard mentioned. I'm okay with a trade down. I'm okay with a trade up.

So many very good players and so few elite players in this draft, I won't know if I am happy or not until the pick is in and I see who we got, how he fits, and who we passed on to take him.

The only pick that would make me angry is if we take a WR, TE, or RB. That and if we reach for a guy who is a 2nd or later projected pick.
