2019 Red Wings Offseason

Calvin Pickard reportedly agreed to 2 year deal with Detroit.

He will probably be 100% in the AHL. He's never lived up to his potential and in his late 20s I doubt his career will make a drastic improvement.

This will be his 5th team in just over 2 years.

Colorado lost him to expansion draft.
Vegas traded him to Toronto for a 6th round pick.
Philadelphia claimed him off waivers.
Arizona claimed him off waivers.

I read on rotoworld they think Zadina is a long shot to make the team out of camp. Is that true I was hoping he'd be a shoo-in to grab a roster spot.
 
Patrik Rybar signed with Oulun K?rp?t of the Finnish league.

So the Pickard signing is the replacement for him.
 
Grewe the little guy decked the much bigger guy. Maybe he lost his balance.

Apparently it was just added to capfriendly.
 
Red Wings add Adam Erne in exchange for a 4th round pick.

They reportedly already signed a 1 year extension 900k with 100k available in bonuses.

Erne was once a highly touted prospects, never quite made the impact Tampa was hoping. But than again, you aren't gonna score many points playing 10 minutes a night with a heavy defensive responsibility.

Perhaps he can put it together, but this means competition for spots will get even more fierce. Thinking both Ehn and DLR are gonna start in GR.
