Obviously it's way too early to mock accurately.. Have fun and have fun fighting.

1. Bjoern Werner/domontre Moore/ Alex okafor
2. Eric Reid/ Matt Elam/ Barrett jones
3. Desmond trufant / Logan Ryan/ khaled Holmes
4. tj mcdonald/ Robert Lester/ Alvin bailey/ Mike gillislee

i think damontre moore and joeckel are the only 2 picks worthy of a top 5 pick. Werner i like. Warmack is also a need that could be considered. Moore is my first choice...hopefully he comes out. Jones or Elam in the 2nd.

Not at all accurate. This comes from game programs. we'll have to wait until the combine

ya werner is up to about 265. Ansah is the monster....maybe he will rise on draft boards cause hes enormous and a freak of an athlete.

My current mock:

Damontre Moore DE
Barret Jones C/G (wouldnt hate Elam S)
Robert Lester S (could see Kenjor Barner RB)

I want to trade down and take Margus Hunt... I know he isn't a polished DE but he is an athletic freak and a tremendous ceiling.

We need a DE who can start game 1, not a project with a "high ceiling"

while i don't disagree with this thought process, remember that JPP was a project his first year with the Giants. i don't think any of us would complain with having the next JPP on the team, though with the Lions the guy will actually play more his rookie year, but that might result in him getting to his ceiling level faster, so first half of season will be suspect and likely have many fans bitching but then praising him in the second 8 games. but that will likely be the case with whomever they get at DE since rookies often need the first half to grow into their potential.

game programs that gathered their data during the spring and never got updated. guys could add 20+ pounds during that time.

I find it odd nobody is talking about Alex okafor. He had a monster bowl game and year. He could come in day one and contribute. I'm not saying it will happen because it probably won't but he's a prototypical shwartz d end. Perfect height, weight and length.

The NYG could afford to wait and had a better line to work with. A guy like that on the Lions means cut in 3 years

hes good....but not a top 5 projected. Things can change after the combine obviously cause ur right....the kid is a monster.

sorry, but if JPP had gone to the Lions, I do not see any way he would have been cut in 3 years. traded, maybe. let go in FA due to high $$$, possibly. cut? very small chance JPP would have been cut, too much talent for that, especially if getting to learn from KVB during that time. JPP is a great student of the game and continues to push himself. self-motivation, raw talent, great teamwork...if only the lions could draft like that instead of the unworthy prima donnas who only think of themselves instead. at least broyles fits the mold of what they need, so i guess they manage to fall into shit once in awhile. of course broyles was injured, so....

Maybe cut it too strong of a word but he wouldn't have been the same type of player that he is with the NYG.
